Irons are the most frequently used clubs, covering nearly all shots from the tee to the green. They range from 3 to 9. Depending on the distance, you select an iron with a specific loft. For short shots, you might choose an iron 9, while for longer shots, an iron 3 or 4 is preferred. Irons are designed for short and precise golf shots, featuring higher lofts (ranging from 20 degrees to 41 degrees), which result in a higher ball flight and less roll. The shafts become shorter as the iron number increases.
